On Tuesday night, a 13-year-old boy was killed in an accident involving four other vehicles including a tractor-trailer. Fox 5 News stated the crash happened at around 9:15 p.m. on the northbound lanes of I-95 near the Intercounty Connector in Maryland. Authorities confirmed that a Honda Pilot was stopped in the road causing a Dodge Caravan and a tractor-trailer to collide. There was also a white Volkswagen that collided into the three cars as well.

The 13-year-old boy was a passenger in the Dodge and was flown to a nearby children’s hospital where he was later confirmed dead. The driver of the Dodge was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries as well. The others involved were not injured. The Interstate 95 was closed for five hours. The crash is still under investigation.
