On Sunday night, there was a one-vehicle injury crash on Highway 101 near Los Alamos. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened in the southbound lanes of the highway, about a mile north of Palmer Road, sometime around 10:00 p.m. For currently unknown reasons, the vehicle overturned in the roadway.
The driver, a 23-year-old woman, had to be extricated from the wreckage. She was transported to Santa Maria Public Airport for an airlift to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. There has been no word on her current condition or the extent of injuries involved. Also, no information has been released about the possible cause of this apparent one-vehicle rollover crash, which could still be under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
