Katherine Berman, wife of a long-time ESPN broadcaster, Chris Berman, died in a car accident in Connecticut on Wednesday afternoon. Ms. Berman collided with an elderly man, Edward Bertulis, and both drivers did not survive. According to ABC News, “Both vehicles were traveling in the same direction on a two-lane road when Kathy Berman’s car struck the rear of Bertulis’ SUV, and both veered off the road.” Bertulis’ struck a utility pole and landed on its roof in the street, and later died at the hospital.
