An off-duty sheriff from Alameda County was killed in a collision with a bus on Interstate 580. The sheriff was hit by a commuter bus carrying Tesla employees. According to NBC Bay Area, “His white 2002 Volkswagen Beetle was crushed when the bus rammed into it, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.” The sheriff was a father of four and was near celebrating his 51st birthday. Investigators are determining whether the sheriff slowed just before the collision or if his vehicle was stopped. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the sheriff.
