Early yesterday afternoon a woman lost control of her vehicle and is now seriously injured. The accident occurred on Highway 101 at the San Anselmo Road exit. According to KSBY News, “The driver of the pickup, 54-year-old Melissa Gootkin of Templeton, veered to the right across the shoulder, drove up the right-hand side embankment, became airborne and hit the San Anselmo Road overpass.”

Tragically, the pickup rolled down the highway and landed on its roof. The authorities told KSBY News that Gootkin suffered major injuries from the accident. The woman was immediately taken to the hospital. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers has Melissa Gootkin in our prayers in hopes she fully recovers.
