On Sunday, a pregnant woman crashed in Oceanside and her and her unborn baby died days later. The woman was a passenger in a truck and the driver lost control of the vehicle causing the car to roll. The reasons are still unknown, however, he crashed into the center median on Oceanside Boulevard and Rancho Del Oro.
NBC News San Diego reported on the accident and confirmed the woman was partially ejected from the passenger window and suffered a severe head injury. She was immediately flown to Scripps Hospital in La Jolla and the five-month-old baby was then delivered. Tragically, the woman died on Monday, and her newborn died on Tuesday.
