On Tuesday afternoon, one person was injured in an apparent single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 101. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened in the northbound lanes, near Refugio State Beach, sometime before 3:15 p.m. First responders found the vehicle flipped over, with the driver still inside. She was restrained by her seatbelt in the upside-down vehicle. Crews were able to free her so she could crawl out of the back window.
That person was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries. Her injuries were initially described as moderate on the scene. There has been no word on her current condition or on the cause of the crash. This rollover wreck could still be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
