On Sunday, there was a fatal crash involving a three-wheeled motorcycle in the Santa Ynez Valley. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the wreck happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 101, about one mile south of the Highway 154 interchange, north of Buellton. The man and woman who were on the three-wheeled motorcycle were ejected during the crash. Very few details have been released, but initial reports indicate that the motorcycle struck the center guardrail during the wreck.

First responders and crews rushed to the scene, where both people were pronounced dead. Their names have not been released yet. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
