Last week, a car in the Spring Valley area fatally struck an elderly woman. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Jamacha Boulevard. Initial reports indicate that the woman was getting her groceries out of a taxi when she was struck by another vehicle. Very few details about this fatal pedestrian collision have been released, but we do know that a silver Toyota Celica struck her. That driver did remain on the scene.
The elderly woman was transported to the hospital for treatment, but she did not survive her injuries. There has been no word on whether or not the driver has been cited in connection with the crash. The wreck could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. sends their deepest condolences to her family members and friends.
