On Monday night, a motorcycle rider was killed in a crash involving a suspected drunk driver in the Linda Vista area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at an intersection on Genesee Avenue. Initial reports indicate that a driver ran through a red light and crashed into the motorcycle. The motorcycle was dragged underneath the vehicle for approximately 100 feet.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was arrested for suspected drunk driving. His eight-year-old daughter was in the car at the time of the crash. There has been no word on whether or not she was injured in the crash.
