An underage driver was arrested on Sunday for striking four pedestrians in Santa Rosa. According to CBS San Francisco, Witnesses told police that a Ford Explorer struck several pedestrians on a sidewalk in front of a restaurant on the northwest corner of the intersection. The driver, Jose Gil Ortiz-Ortiz, struck the pedestrians near the Fourth Street and Brookwood Avenue intersection. Jose Gil Ortiz-Ortiz’s vehicle was missing a tire and he ran away from the accident as soon as his vehicle came to a stop. The police found him a few blocks over and arrested him for felony hit and run and felony DUI. The four pedestrians were injured, however, they are expected to be okay.
