On Monday afternoon, there was a five-vehicle injury crash in Santa Ynez. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the wreck happened on Highway 246 near Refugio Road, at about 3:30 p.m. Very little information has been released about this multi-vehicle injury crash, but we do know that at least two people were injured. A 64-year-old man was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries, and another person was taken to Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Additional details and conditions of those injured have not been released. Also, there has been no word on the cause of this crash, which is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
