On Friday, a vehicle was hit by an Amtrak Capitol Corridor train and killed one person in Santa Clara. Unfortunately, the crash occurred around 10 a.m. in the Agnew Road and Lafayette Street intersection. According to NBC Bay Area News, none of the 45 passengers on the train were injured. The passengers were bused to the San Jose while the authorities cleaned and cleared the tracks. Unfortunate accidents like these happen more often in big cities.
