Two Tower of Power band members, David Garibaldi and bassist Marc Van Wageningen, were hit by a train last night in Oakland. The incident happened near Yoshi Nightclub near the Embarcadero where they were scheduled to perform. Both members are responsive and treating at a local hospital. The other two band members were interviewed by NBC Bay Area and told the reporter that they were walking when the lights were flashing giving them the impression to walk across the tracks. The two band members had no time to react and were hit by the train. Amtrak confirmed that the pedestrians were walking in an unmarked crosswalk, however, it is not confirmed whether there was a malfunction with the lights. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers wish a speedy recovery to the rock stars.
