Last week, 13 people were injured in a bus crash in the Cabazon area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on the eastbound 10 Freeway, near Malki Road, on Friday morning. Initial reports indicate that there were 33 people on the Greyhound bus at the time of the crash. The bus was on a trip from Los Angeles to Phoenix, Arizona.

Apparently, the bus suffered from some kind of tire failure on the left front tire when it was traveling at about 60 to 65 miles per hour. The bus driver lost control of the bus, and it hit an SUV, struck a divider wall, and stopped in the median. In total, about 20 people were taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment of injuries. This bus crash happened in a construction zone, and the incident is likely still under investigation by local law enforcement officials.
