On Friday evening, a crash in Chula Vista was blamed on a tangled up cell phone charger cord. According to ABC News Channel 10, a teen driver got tangled up in a cell phone charger cord and crashed into a light pole at the intersection of Heritage Road and Main Street. The wreck, which happened on a main route to Sleep Train Amphitheatre, caused traffic to backup for those going to the Dave Mathews Band concert.

The teen reportedly crashed into the pole as he was trying to reach down to untangle himself from the charger cord. Concert traffic had to be diverted to alternate routes. Thankfully, two eastbound lanes of Main Street were reopened just before 6:00 p.m. There was no word on whether or not the teen was injured in the crash or if he was cited.
