Cement Truck Rollover on I-8

On Wednesday morning, a cement truck rolled over on a Mission Valley freeway interchange. The wreck happened on the ramp from westbound Interstate 8 to southbound State Route 163. According to ABC Channel 10 News, the injured driver was trapped in the large truck. The roadway had to be closed while first responders and law enforcement officials were on the scene.

The driver’s arm was pinned underneath the overturned truck. Emergency crews spent 45 minutes jacking up the enormous vehicle to free the victim. He was immediately rushed to the trauma center. There is no word on the extent of his injuries or his current condition. Additionally, no information has been released on the cause of this rollover wreck.
