Students and one parent were injured in an unfortunate accident caused by a confused driver at Hidden Valley Middle School. The elderly woman accidentally accelerated at a high rate of speed through the parking lot, jumped the curb and crashed through the fence down a small hill on campus. The driver’s granddaughter suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Rady Children’s Hospital, per NBC San Diego.
