Early Thursday morning, nine vehicles crashed on Interstate 5 in Irvine. The accident around 1:30 a.m. near Alton Parkway exit. According to ABC Los Angeles, a 22-year-old is said to be the cause of the accident and he was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A woman was found dead in her vehicle and her six-month-old boy was rescued from the vehicle. Two other children were hospitalized as well. The suspected DUI driver was said to be speeding before he crashed into an Uber driver. Other victims were hospitalized, and the extent of injuries are unknown.
