This Saturday, a man was driving under the influence and crashed on the northbound 110 Freeway and killed a 4-month-old girl and injured a 10-year-old boy and a woman in Elysian Park. He was at the wheel of a 2001 Chevrolet when it slammed into the rear of a 2006 Chrysler that was slowing and pulling over to the right shoulder, stated the Daily News. “The infant girl, who was initially listed in critical condition, was in cardiac arrest while rushed to the hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.” The impact caused both drivers to lose control and struck a third vehicle. That driver was not injured. The driver under the influence suffered minor injuries and was booked into jail. The death of the child allowed to drivers pending charge of DUI causing injury, to be upgraded to vehicular manslaughter. The Team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of those involved in this horrific incident.
