This morning in Escondido, a mobile home in the Greencrest Mobile Home Park burst into flames killing a young girl and injuring many surrounding people. The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. The cause of the fire is undetermined, although authorities have suggested it was caused by and electrical cord and or unattended candles.

Patch documented, “At least eight people were transported to local hospitals for treatment, including a 10-year-old boy”. The Escondido Firemen performed CPR on the young boy while he was airlifted to Rady Children’s Hospital. Escondido Police arrived on scene first and was making initial rescues within the home, noted by Fox San Diego. Sadly, the young girl did not make it.
