On Friday in Hesperia, a car crashed into the California Aqueduct. A mother was driving her three kids when she crashed her vehicle into the aqueduct. Unfortunately, the mother and one child were confirmed dead shortly after the tragic accident. One child was rescued, and another child was missing. Emergency dive crews were called to the scene and divers searched for the toddler in the dark for hours.

The San Luis Obispo Tribune reported, “The Volkswagen Beetle struck a guardrail before plunging into the aqueduct, which crosses under the main street in the Mojave Desert city 65 miles northeast of Los Angeles.” The cause of this investigation is currently under investigation. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the family and friends involved in this tragic accident.
