On Friday morning, there was a fatal crash on Highway 101 near Arroyo Grande. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the apparent one-car wreck happened just north of Laetitia Winery at about 7:00 a.m. Very little information has been released about this fatal crash, but we do know that a school bus driver reported seeing fresh skid marks leading off of the right side of the roadway.

First responders rushed to the scene where they found an overturned Toyota Corolla down an embankment. The driver, a 35-year-old man from Santa Maria, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of this fatal crash is still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol. Our Arroyo Grande injury lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the deceased driver.
