A man was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Millbrae last night. Apparently, the pedestrian was walking in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle. Unfortunately, the driver fled the scene and is unidentified at this point. Patch stated the incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. at the El Camino Real and Ludeman Lane intersection. The sheriff found the pedestrian lying on the road with major injuries. Upon arriving at the hospital, the pedestrian was confirmed to be dead.
California pedestrian injuries are usually caused by distracted drivers, especially drivers who are texting.
