Monday on Route 67, one person was killed and three others were injured from a collision between two SUV’s. A teenager and her passenger were driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer, lost control of the vehicle, and struck two women in a Hyundai. “The 18-year-old driver was driving too fast for the wet conditions and lost control of the SUV, CHP said. The vehicle was traveling about 60 miles per hour, began sliding sideways across the pavement and crossed directly into the path of the Hyundai just after 1 p.m. Monday, KUSI. There were four women total injured from this accident, and they were rushed to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. The passenger of the Hyundai did not survive.
