Fiery Crash on I-15 in San Diego

On Thursday afternoon, a fiery crash had traffic backed up for miles on Interstate 15. The wreck which happened at about 4:20 p.m. involved a sedan and a large SUV. Somehow, the crash left one of the vehicles in flames. According to Fox Channel Five News, two San Diego Fire-Rescue Department engines had to respond to the crash.

According to officials with the California Highway Patrol, the sedan was engulfed in flames in the middle of southbound I-15. Firefighters had to put out the blaze and remove the wreckage before commuters could continue home. No information has been released on how this crash happened, and there’s no word on whether or not anybody was injured in this fiery wreck.
