Friday afternoon in Santa Maria, a vehicle overturned on Highway 166 near Rock Front Ranch injuring five people. According to Noozhawk, “Three people reportedly had major injuries with two other having moderate injuries.” The vehicle had landed off the Northside of the highway and was not visible from the road. The surrounding roads remained closed, and a CalStar medical helicopter landed near the scene of the accident to take one patient to a hospital. The other four injured people were taken to Marian Regional Medical Center. There is not any further information regarding the injuries or the cause of the accident.
