Head-on Injury Collision in Santa Barbara

A head-on collision in Santa Barbara sent three people to the hospital. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened on Highway 154, near the Summit Vista point. First responders with the Santa Barbara County Fire Department were swiftly on the scene, and westbound lanes had to be closed as crews and tow trucks arrived.

For currently unknown reasons, the two cars collided head on in a westbound lane. Thankfully, air bags did deploy. At least three people were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries. Although there’s no word on the exact extent of their injuries, they were initially described as minor to moderate. The cause of this crash is likely still under investigation with authorities.
