Earlier this week, there was a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle in Kearny Mesa. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Monday night, just after 11:00 p.m. Initial reports indicate that a motorcycle rider was headed into the Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Kearny Villa Road intersection on a greenlight, when a northbound vehicle on Kearny Villa Road struck that person and fled the scene.

First responders rushed to the scene. The 53-year-old motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital for treatment of fractured ribs and a fractured ankle. At the time of the news report, there was no word on the make or model of the hit-and-run vehicle. This crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
