On Monday, two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 125 in El Cajon. According to NBC San Diego News Channel Seven, a Hyundai traveling at about 40 miles per hour slammed into the back of a Toyota Camry that was stopped due to slow traffic. The Camry was then pushed into the path of an oncoming Chevy Impala. The Impala was reportedly traveling at 65 miles per hour at the time of impact, and that driver was unable to react in enough time to avoid the collision.

The driver of the Camry had to be extricated from the wreckage. She was rushed to Sharp Memorial Hospital with moderate to major injuries.
