On Wednesday morning, a woman was injured in a crash on Highway 166, just east of Santa Maria. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened east of Rock Front Ranch at about 9:20 a.m. For currently unknown reasons, the vehicle rolled over and ended up with its wheels facing the wrong way on the side of the road.

Very few details about this crash have been released, but we do know that the driver had to be airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of major injuries. There has been no word on that person’s current condition or on the full extent of injuries involved. Additionally, no information has been released on the cause of this crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
