Early this morning a pedestrian was killed by an Amtrak train in Montecito. The train accident occurred on the train tracks near Olive Mill Road around 7:00 a.m. A northbound train approached the pedestrian and the engineer tried to stop in time but was unable to, per Noozhawk. The death of the pedestrian caused a major delay to the Pacific Surfliner. The train’s passengers were uninjured.  The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the deceased pedestrian.
