Last week, a motor scooter rider was injured in a crash in downtown Santa Barbara. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the wreck happened on De la Vina Street at Figueroa Street, just after noon on Friday. The scooter rider was reportedly headed south on De la Vina, when a sedan cut him off while making a left turn onto Figueroa.

The rider was ejected from the scooter. He was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries. There has been no word on his current condition or on the full extent of injuries involved. Additionally, no information has been released on whether or not the driver involved is facing any citations associated with the crash. This incident could still be under investigation with authorities.
