Motorcycle Dragged by Car in San Diego

On Tuesday night, a motorcycle was dragged 150 feet in the Mid City area of San Diego. According to NBC San Diego Channel Seven News, the incident happened at about 7:45 p.m. in the 3400 block of Mina Street. For currently unknown reasons, an incident prompted the driver of a car to pursue the motorcyclist. Initial reports indicate that the driver intentionally struck the motorcycle and then dragged it down Chollas Parkway.

Although the bike burst into flames on the scene, the motorcyclist was able to escape with only seemingly minor injuries. The driver of the car was found several blocks away. He was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. A firearm was also recovered during the investigation.
