Motorcycle Injury Crash in Templeton

On Friday night, a motorcycle rider suffered from severe injuries after hitting a Jeep in Templeton. According to KSBY News Channel Six, the incident happened at Creston Road and Neal Spring Road at about 8:10 p.m. The motorcyclist sustained multiple injuries including a severed leg. That person was airlifted to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The 38-year-old motorcycle rider was reportedly crossing the double yellow line to pass cars prior to the crash. He was traveling eastbound when he sideswiped the westbound Jeep. The motorcycle then crashed into a tree and a fence beside the roadway. The motorcycle was destroyed in the crash, and a portion of the roadway had to be closed as crews and first responders worked the scene. There has been no word on the motorcyclist’s current condition.
