Last week, a motorcycle wheelie injured three people in the Gaslamp District. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Friday evening in the 400 block of F Street. Very little information about this crash has been released, but initial reports indicate that a motorcyclist attempted to do a wheelie and lost control of his bike. The motorcycle driver and a female passenger fell off of the bike, and the motorcycle struck two pedestrians.
The driver of the motorcycle fled on foot. His passenger and the two injured pedestrians were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. There has been no word on whether or not the driver has been located. This incident is likely still under investigation.
