The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is currently running several different safety campaigns aimed at raising awareness about the dangers associated with the Thanksgiving holiday weekend on U.S. roadways. The NHTSA, as well as many local and state public safety and law enforcement agencies throughout the nation, will be participating in high-visibility enforcement campaigns and public safety campaigns related to buckling up, and driving sober this holiday weekend and throughout the rest of the year.
