A vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian on Saturday on Railroad Avenue in Pittsburg. Police announced the crash around 8:30 p.m. Saturday and said that traffic was blocked off from Yosemite Drive to Linchied Drive, along Railroad Avenue, per The East Bay Times. The pedestrian was not publicly identified at the time of the incident. The driver who hit the pedestrian cooperated with the authorities, as alcohol or drugs did not appear to play a part.
