Pedestrian Struck in San Diego

On Wednesday afternoon, a car struck a pedestrian in the Linda Vista area of San Diego. According to ABC News Channel 10, the incident happened in the 6900 block of Linda Vista Road, sometime before 5:00 p.m. Very few details have been released, but we do know that the victim was an 18-year-old male pedestrian. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

At this time, there is no word on how the crash happened. Reportedly, the driver did stay on the scene. It was not described as a hit-and-run crash. Although there is no word on the extent of the teen’s injuries, they were initially listed as major. There’s no word on his current condition. Law enforcement authorities are likely still investigating this pedestrian crash.
