A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that ran a red light at 8:30 a.m. in Miramar Ranch North. The pedestrian was hit on the 11600 block of Scripps Poway Parkway and Angelique Street intersection. The victim was transported to Scripps La Jolla Hospital and is being treated for six fractured vertebrae and a broken rib, according to NBC San Diego. The driver stayed at the scene for questioning.
