Rollover Crash on Highway 101

On Saturday, two people were seriously injured in a rollover crash on Highway 101. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened sometime before 7:00 a.m., between Palmer and Cat Canyon Roads, near Los Alamos. For currently unknown reasons, a southbound Toyota Camry overturned in the northbound lanes. There were two passengers in the back seat at the time of the crash, and they both had to be extricated from the wreckage.

First responders and crews were on the scene where a portion of the highway had to be closed. At least two people were rushed to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. There has been no word on the cause of this crash, which is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
