A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in South Bay on Thursday night. The driver left the scene of the accident, and police are searching for the driver of a maroon-colored SUV. According to ABC Ten News, Police said the unidentified man was crossing Palm Avenue, but not in the crosswalk, at around 8:45 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle in the westbound lanes.
