On Wednesday, at least one person was injured in a crash involving speeding on State Route 94 in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened near Federal Boulevard in the Emerald Hills area at about 2:40 a.m. Very few details about this wreck have been released, but initial reports indicate that a black BMW was traveling at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour when it spun out.

The vehicle hit the center divider and then crashed into a guardrail on the shoulder of the roadway. First responders rushed to the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. No other vehicles were involved in this high-speed crash.
