At least 10 people were sent to the hospital following a school bus incident this week. According to ABC News Channel 10, a school bus carrying about 50 elementary-age children had to swerve and stop abruptly to avoid hitting another vehicle on Olde Highway 80 in the Flinn Springs area. First responders were swiftly on the scene, which was in the 1400 block of Olde Highway 80.

Although the bus didn’t collide with the other vehicle, some students were injured during the abrupt maneuver. A few children reported hitting their heads, and at least 10 people were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. There is no word on whether or not anybody has been cited in this incident, or if the case remains under investigation.
