Taxi Slams into Bank in San Diego

On Monday night, a taxicab drove into a bank in downtown San Diego. According to NBC San Diego Channel Seven News, the incident happened at the Wells Fargo Bank on 1st Avenue and Market Street, sometime before 11:00 p.m. Apparently, the cab drifted off of the roadway and slammed into the bank after colliding with another vehicle.

The cab driver was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, there’s no word on how the initial crash happened, but there were storms moving through at the time of the wreck. The cause of this crash is likely still under investigation with law enforcement authorities.
