Three people were injured in a collision on Highway 166 just east of Santa Maria on Sunday evening. The California Highway Patrol stated that there was a man who was driving his Chevrolet pickup and crossed over the lanes and hit a Dodge pickup head on. Due to the impact, the Dodge pickup wound up on its side. The Chevrolet driver, the Dodge Driver and the passenger of the Dodge, were all taken to the hospital with major injuries. Noozhawk stated that “Highway 166 between Santa Maria and Cuyama was closed for more than two hours Sunday night.” The crash is under investigation, and the injuries are not confirmed.
