On Sunday morning, there was a two-vehicle injury crash at an intersection in Goleta. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the wreck happened sometime before 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Storke Road and Hollister Avenue. Although very little information has been released about this crash, we do know that one driver reportedly ran a red light at the intersection.
First responders rushed to the scene, where at least two people had to be transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Thankfully, none of the injuries were described as critical. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Alcohol was not suspected to be a factor, but the cause of this crash is still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
