Two people suffered major injuries on Thursday in downtown Santa Barbara. The accident occurred near Chapala and Carrillo intersection. An elderly lady driving in a sedan ran a red light and struck a vehicle that was travelling westbound on Carrillo. According to Noozhawk, the second vehicle (the vehicle hit by the elderly woman) was spun around and knocked over a traffic signal before coming to rest on the sidewalk on the southwest corner of the intersection. Both victims were transported to the hospital for the treatment of their injuries. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers have all involved in our prayers in hopes of a full recovery.
