On Monday, two people were killed in the aftermath of a 2-vehicle crash near Reedly. The incident occurred at the corner of Buttonwillow and East Parlier Avenues, according to KMPH Fox 26. California Highway Patrol reports that the driver of an eastbound Ford Focus did not stop at the stop sign on Parlier, and was hit by a truck that did not have a stop sign on Buttonwillow. The truck was unable to stop and collided with the passenger side of the Focus, pinning in the 40-year-old woman driver and 58-year-old male passenger.  

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was taken to the hospital where she later died. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
