A teenage girl was struck and killed by an MTS bus in Redondo Beach on Friday. The teenage girl was riding her bicycle on Pacific Coast Highway at Knob Hill Avenue when she accidentally traveled into the street, and the bus hit her as she was in the lane closest to the curb. The young girl was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, her friend was not injured. According to the Daily Breeze, “The girl may have rolled out into the street and made a small circle to go back to the curb, but Police are not sure yet whether she was hit by the front or the side of the bus. Many witnesses rushed to the girl to assist her, however, there was no reviving her.
